                                                                     SUMMARY            

    I have extensive experience in teaching English as a foreign Language both at private and pubic language schools and  also as a private teacher.

 I have been a licensed English teacher since 1990. I teach virtual classes from my home office in Brasília. 

 I have been teaching virtually since 2005.

 Blended learning/teaching is one of my favorite areas of research nowadays.

                                                  ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

•Complementação Pedagógica –  UniCEUB Brasília DF 1990 – A teacher’s training course offered to Cambridge CPE holders by the Department of Foreign Languages in Brazilian universities. The course is required by  the Ministry of Education in Brazil as an alternative route, other than obtaining a BA in  English, in order for EFL teachers to become licensed English teachers recognized by the Ministry.

CPE Translation Certificate Grade B - Cambridge University, 1989 optional, additional paper of the CPE exam;  translation from and into English. (Brazilian Portuguese<>English)

The exam is no longer offered by Cambridge University due to a  lack of candidates who registered for this kind of qualification. I have never had a chance to take this Exam again in order to improve my grade from B to A.

  • Extensive experience teaching online, a project I initiated all by myself in 2005 and which has been very successful and rewarding so far.

    Reading in the fields of psychology, applied linguistics, neurosciences and marketing have been part of my daily routine for the past ten years.

  • Non-formal learning on new trends and idea exchanging on IT with a whole lot of cyber friends around the world, always with education in mind.

    Attended a myriad of International Speakers given by  Cambridge University Press workshops in Brasília (Jack C. Richards,Michael McCarthy, Herbert Puchta,  among many others).

     •Audible online collection (www.audible.com) with over a thousand items, encompassing :

      Audio books, periodicals and audio magazine subscriptions. This has been one of my major investments in  listening extensively to enhance my knowledge in the fields of psychology, neurosciences, education, marketing, science and technology, management, business, history and other related fields.
